Practice Coalition Fundraiser
Dec 3, 6:15pm - 8pm (Wednesday)
Balance Arts Center
Room 1
151 West 30th Street, Manhattan
The Yamas are the first limb in Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga. There are five Yamas, and Aparigraha is the last of the five. It translates to mean not hoarding and non possessiveness. Practicing Yoga nowadays is often available only to those who have the time and money for it. In the spirit of not hoarding the positive outcomes of the practice itself, we will explore finding ways to share it to support others who lack the resources to practice. Join us for this special fundraiser, where Lillian Cuthbert will lead a one hour yoga class with a theme on Aparigraha. Attendees will receive a small gift.
All donations will go to supporting The Practice Coalition in its mission to bring Yoga for Trauma to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
All donations are fully tax deductible.
